Samsung and LG gaining back its users with newly launched smartphones in the home country

The smartphone market continued dull until the Q2 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. But Samsung launched Galaxy Note 20 series in August alongside LG Electronics started turning to the smartphone market in September.

After the launching of new models, the smartphone market again jumped to a new height and we have seen excitement again in the consumers.  The newly launched devices including Samsung’s two new foldable phones Galaxy Z Fold2 and Z Flip 5G, along with LG’s Wing have been a form factor to lead the overall recovery of the smartphone market.

Consumers pre-ordered around 80,000 units for Galaxy Z Fold2 in just five days which indicates that the consumers back to the high-end smartphones. Furthermore, LG unveiled its most awaited smartphone, LG Wing, on September 14. This device will go on sale from October 5 at an expected price of around $860.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series got a better response from consumers in comparison to the Galaxy S20 series. The smartphone market is expected to gain with the launching of the upcoming iPhone 12 series apart from the company disappointed with no unveiling of the most awaited iPhone 12 in its online event of September 15.

Apple is expected to reveal the 12th edition of the iPhone, including its first 5G model soon while Samsung unveiled an affordable version of Galaxy S20 as Galaxy S20 Fan Edition on September 23. The company first time revealed a budget phone that is based on its flagship model.

LG has released the LG Q31, the cheapest LTE model among the company’s phones this year. The Q31, featuring a 5.7-inch U-notch display, 3,000mAh battery, and 3GB RAM, sells for around $180.

“The Q3 provides necessary functions for the most competitive price,” said an LG official. “The model will target consumers from all walks of life.”
