Samsung confirms the Galaxy Note 20 and Fold 2 are coming

Samsung has announced its Q1 2020 financial results. The company reported quarterly operating profit of KRW 6.45 trillion ($5.3 billion) and sales of KRW 55.33 trillion ($45.4 billion). It is anticipating a decline in revenue in Q2 2020 as COVID-19 will impact demand for its core products. But Samsung is planning to bounce back in the second half of the year.

“The Company will continue to offer differentiated products in the premium segment with the launch of new foldable and Note models,” Samsung said. “The Company also plans to enhance product competitiveness by expanding 5G adoption to mass-market smartphones and improve operational efficiency across all areas throughout R&D, production, supply, channel and marketing.”

It means the company has confirmed the Galaxy Note 20 and we can expect another foldable device that’ll more than likely be the Galaxy Fold 2.

From the leaks and rumors so far, the Galaxy Note 20 will get a 120Hz refresh rate display. It could even come with an under-display selfie camera. While the Galaxy Fold 2 to come with a larger 7.6-inch main display.

The company didn’t confirm the release date for the Galaxy Note 20 and Fold 2. As reported earlier, the Galaxy Note 20 and Fold 2 could come sometime around August 2020.
