Samsung has now officially launched the Expert RAW camera app for the Galaxy S22 series. Now, the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ devices are also able to support the Expert RAW function, in addition to the Galaxy S22 Ultra and Galaxy S21 Ultra.
Now with the support of Expert RAW camera application, the Galaxy S22 series smartphone users will be able to use Telephoto lens in Pro mode. The company disclosed the concept of this app which is Computational Photography, aimed to deliver DSLR-like photography and details in images.

However, Samsung also confirmed that the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, Galaxy S22 Ultra and Galaxy S21 Ultra will receive new software updates alongside an improved version of the Expert RAW app. At the same time, the service will be expanded for the Galaxy S21 Ultra devices globally.
Further, the company will rollout day/night telephoto lens tuning and DNG noise improvement, sometime in March, while a new Expert RAW version is likely to be rolled out with improved detail in ultra-low light at night in April 2022.
