Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 is getting the One UI 2.5 update

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 received the One UI 2.1 update back in April this year. The company has now started rolling out to its latest One UI 2.5 software update to the Galaxy Tab S6. Along with many new features, it also brings the September 2020 Android security patch.

The latest One UI 2.5 update is currently rolling out in Germany for the WiFi and LTE Tab S6 models. The software versions are T860XXU3BTI2 and T865XXU4BTI1 for the WiFi and LTE respectively.

The One UI 2.5 brings many new features, including improved Multi-Window support, Edge panel, and Wireless DeX. You now have the option to view WiFi connection status – Very Fast, Fast, Normal, or Slow.

If you want to check for the update manually, just head into the device Settings, tap on the Software update menu and go for the Download and install option.

Samsung has released the One UI 2.5 update to the Galaxy S10e, S10, S10+, S10 Lite, Note 10, Note 10+, Note 10 Lite, Galaxy S20, S20+, S20 Ultra, Galaxy Z Flip, and others.

About the Samsung One UI 3.0?

Samsung is currently testing the One UI 3.0 based on Android 11 OS for the Galaxy S20 series, as pre-beta for the developers. The company may soon release the One UI 3.0 beta program for the public.
