Samsung may soon launch Galaxy W21 5G in China

Samsung is planning to launch the Galaxy W21 5G in China.  Previously, the company has launched the Galaxy W20 5G, which is the 5G version of the global variant Galaxy Fold. The company aspires to reveal Galaxy W21 5G as a successor of Galaxy W20 5G in China.

Recently the Galaxy W21 5G has passed 3C certification in China. The model number of Samsung Galaxy W20 5G is SM-W2020, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in China has approved a Samsung device with a model number SM-W2021. The approved model number clearly indicates that Samsung should reveal a Galaxy W21 5G soon.

Currently, there’s no image available except the model number, the list shows that the size of the device is 128.2×159.2×6.2mm. Its main screen size is 6.23-inches and the device is powered by 2090mAh+2160mAh (rated value) dual batteries while the battery capacity of the global version of Galaxy Z Fold 2 is 4,500mAh. The dimensions and screen size of the Galaxy W21 matches with the Galaxy Z Fold 2.

Galaxy W21 5G likely to launch as the Chinese variant of the Galaxy Z Fold 2. The screen size is expected to be as same as the Galaxy Z Fold 2 as well as an upgraded dual card function. The 3C certification of the Galaxy W21 5G shows that it is a 5G-enabled product. The device could come with 25W fast charging.

Galaxy W20 5G was officially launched in November last year. Accordingly, Galaxy W21 5G is likely to be launched at a similar time this year.
