Samsung One UI 4 Beta added two new privacy toggles in Quick Settings

More recently, we noticed that Samsung has enabled third-party icon packs on the One UI 4 beta channel, and another feature related to consumer privacy has just surfaced.

Following in the footsteps of Android 12, the Galaxy S21 series has received two new privacy switches in the quick settings panel.

According to information provided by Rydah, after upgrading to One UI 4 beta based on Android 12 on the Galaxy S21 smartphone, consumers have received two new toggle switches in the quick settings menu that can be used to enable/disable microphone and camera access.

Although, we don’t have much information about this change, and also, these new buttons should allow users to operate the phone’s hardware permissions for apps. In Android 12, Google has also added features like Green Privacy Indicator.

Earlier this month, the South Korean tech giant announced the Android 12-based One UI 4 beta program for the Galaxy S21 series of smartphones.

As per the official sources, this activity will be opened in seven major markets and three of them have already received the One UI 4 Beta 1.

Following the US, South Korea, and Germany, the eyes of Galaxy S21 series smartphone users in India, Poland, the UK, and China are waiting to see the announcement. The company is expected to expand the One UI 4 beta to other regions soon.
