Recently Opensignal has tested and compared the internet speed of the Apple iPhone 12 and Samsung phones. As per the result, Samsung still beats iPhones in terms of 5G cellular speeds in the US. While the Apple iPhone 12 has only managed to deliver a 2x data speed over the previous generation.

Coming to Samsung phones which are proved to be 20% faster than the iPhone 12 series and surpassed the iPhone maker for delivering 5G services. Both the companies use Qualcomm modem for 5G connection and it seems that the combination of hardware is set perfectly set with that of Samsung.
