Every time Samsung tries to give its users adequate services, and now this time company is bringing a new feature called Repair Mode for Galaxy users. With the help of this feature, you can give your phone for repair freely without having a doubt of losing your personal data.

Today, Samsung officially debuted the Repair Mode for the users, it is a function that will let you hide your personal data and information at the time of giving the phone for repair. This function alliances the problem of circulating personal information via some private companies through the technique of repairing.

By enabling this Repair Mode on your Galaxy phone user won’t be able to access their personal data, such as photos, messages, and accounts, and there only remains the default installed apps. Simultaneously after repairing users will be able to access their full data by disabling the Repair Mode.

The South Korean tech giant will roll out this feature to eligible Galaxy devices with the help of software updates and the Galaxy S21 series will be the first to grab it. The device today also received a new security patch of the August 2022 update.

How to enable Repair Mode

  • Visit the Settings section.
  • Tap on Battery and Device Care menu.
  • Here you will find Repair Mode.
  • Enable it.
  • Now your phone gets rebooted.

How to disable Repair Mode

  • Again follow the same steps.
  • Go to the Settings menu.
  • Tap on the Battery and Device Care.
  • Press the Repair mode.
  • Now again reboot your phone with fingerprint/pattern/face recognition.
