Shanling CD-S100 21 version desktop CD player launched, equip with Ingenic X2000 processor and more

On April 14 the Chinese maker Shanling released the CD-S100 21 version of the CD player today. This product was first released in 1999 and is currently the sixth generation product.

This product not only supports CD playback, but also supports USB, Bluetooth, and U disk input methods, which is convenient for today’s smart devices.

Shanling CD-S100 21 version is equipped with Ingenic X2000 processor, with two 1.5GHz CPU cores, and supports a variety of digital audio signal specifications.

For CD, the classic Philips CD80 servo system is used, and the AK4493 DAC chip of Japan’s AKM is used. This player supports Bluetooth 5.0 and is furnished with a round IPS display on the front that can display information such as playing time and album cover.

Additionally, to eating, the USB decoding capability of the player supports up to 768kHz/32bit, DSD512. The predecessor product of Shanlingling CD-S100 was launched in 2015, equipped with a CS4398 decoding chip, and does not support Bluetooth input.

The previous generation player is priced at 1,980 yuan, and the 2021 version is priced at 2,880 yuan. It will be officially released on April 19.
