OnePlus is expected to release the Buds Z series sequel in October. Now, the latest news on Giznext has revealed some information about this TWS headset.

The OnePlus Buds Z2 is said to adopt the same in-ear design as the previous generation and comes with silicone earplugs, available in black and white color. The size of charging box size is 73.15×36.80×29.07mm.

The most important upgrade on the OnePlus Buds Z2 will be active noise reduction and support for Dolby Atmos. It is equipped with 3 microphones and is designed to increase battery life and improve wind noise. It is reported that the headset uses an 11mm moving coil unit, supports waterproof and sweatproof, has IP55 certification, and the charging box reaches IPX4.

The OnePlus Buds Z2 will also support Bluetooth 5.2, but there’s no advanced audio stream codec, only basic AAC and SBC, active noise reduction depth of 40 decibels, microphone sensitivity -38dB (+-2dB).

In other cases, this headset may make use of a 40mAh battery, while the charging box makes use of a 520mAh battery. It takes 90 minutes to charge from 0 to 100%, and the total battery life can reach up to 27 hours (noise reduction). 38 hours.

This headset can achieve 5 hours of continuous playback time when ANC is on and 7 hours when ANC is turned off. Compared to the previous generation Buds Z’s 5 Hours, this is a huge success.

Currently, the price of this headset is still unknown. For reference, the first-generation OnePlus Buds Z is priced at $50/€60/INR 3000 (approximately 261 Yuan).
