Xiaomi improves Redmi Note 8T system security via January 2021 update

In November 2019, Xiaomi officially introduced the Redmi Note 8T with a 6.39-inch Full HD+ LCD screen, Snapdragon 665 11nm processor, 48MP primary camera, 4000mAh battery, and more. It initially came with MIUI 11 based on Android 9 Pie.

Now, the company has begun to rollout a new software update for Redmi Note 8T in Russia. It installs the latest Android patch released in January 2021 for system security enhancement.

The firmware version of this update is V12.0.3.0.QCXRUXM and users will have to download a 3.7GB software package to install the update. Below you can check the changelog and download link of the update.
