YouTube app started to support 4K on Apple TV

Apple recently released tvOS 14 for Apple TV which was supposed to come with support for watching 4K content on the YouTube app. But after the release of the software users noticed that the 4K support was not available on Apple TV. It seems that the support for 4K on YouTube is finally being rolled out.

Now, days after the launch of tvOS 14 the users have started to see the option for 4K playback on YouTube. Although, The support is not rolled out for all the users. Some users with access are still not able to watch in HDR, and 4K and are limited to 30 frames per second.

The reason for the lack of HDR or the limitation on 4K Apple TV is still unknown. It is also unclear as to when the support will be available for all the users. It appears that the support has been started to roll out and it will not take too long to see the availability for 4K streaming on YouTube on Apple TV for all users.
