Caution: Do Not Install the latest January 2023 security update (OxygenOS 13 F.19) for your OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro devices. The official persons of the company recently shared this post on the community forum alerting the corresponding device owners to avoid the new build.

The reason behind this restriction is that the update still holds some issues on the board. Eventually, the iteration could result in interruptible boots. Hence, the official persons in the community forum shared another post, to alert the OnePlus 9/ 9 Pro users of the latest OxygenOS 13 F.19 update.

Earlier, we mentioned that the manufacturer has started the rollout but due to an issue in the booting scenario, the company stopped the process. However, OnePlus again began the process after a long while, which made us feel that the issue would have been repaired.

But it looks like that’s not the case, and the company will require a few more days to inspect and fix the booting issue permanently. Here’s what the company said on the forum:

“If you still see the update as available, please do not install it to avoid possibly being affected.
We are already working on a new build that will roll out to all users as soon as possible. As always, thank you for your understanding.”

So OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro users! Halt the update process for a few more days, and keep a little more patient for the upcoming firmware.

Also, if you have already installed the update, let us know in the comment section whether you are facing any issues with everything being alright in your OnePlus 9 or 9 Pro smartphone.
