OnePlus Nord CE global users recently received OxygenOS 13 F.06 version with useful additions but looks like the update also welcomed a bunch of new issues to the respective devices. Following the feedback, the company has now stopped circulating this build to more users.
This morning a OnePlus moderator updated the Nord CE 5G OxygenOS 13 F.06 update thread on the community due to some known issues on board. Accordingly, the latest note reads that the company has temporarily removed the recent version.
A reason behind this step is Nord CE users’ feedback on sound malfunction. Eventually, the device failed to deliver a precise audio experience after the March 2023 security update.
Currently, the company has halted the update distribution process for the Nord CE handsets. Although the moderator said that the developer team has addressed the issue and will soon come out with a solution. Till then, patience and support are required.
“We are sorry to inform you that the F.06 version is removed temporarily because of feedback of sound malfunction. Our dev team is working on the case and please stay tuned for the later process. Thanks for your support and understanding.”
That’s not the first time when the tech giant has pulled up a new update due to defects. Earlier, we have seen the same scenario with the OnePlus 9/ 9 Pro, where the company cautioned not to download the F.19 firmware. (Read more HERE)
However, the manufacturer didn’t delay the process then and rolled out a new firmware within a few days. Thus, we could expect that the company will release either a new version or a fix to sound-related problems in the coming days.
