A fully electric Lamborghini is still far away

Major supercar manufacturers are among the last to switch to electric traction, and this is logical. So, the Lamborghini company announced that it is also going to release an all-electric car, but does not intend to rush with it.

To begin with, we are waiting for hybrid models that will be released in the coming years, and a car without an internal combustion engine at all may come out sometime in the second half of this decade.

There are also details. In 2023, Lamborghini is going to release the first hybrid, and by the end of 2024, the entire lineup of the company will be electrified. However, given that this very lineup is quite modest, such a time frame does not seem to be something impossible.

Unfortunately, the company did not provide an exact date for the launch of the first electric car, so such a car could come out both in 2026 and in 2029.
