Apple’s tvOS 15.1 now available for Apple TV, adds support for SharePlay

According to the latest report, Apple launched the official version of tvOS 15.1 for Apple TV device, adding support for SharePlay, etc., which was launched in September 2021 which is the first major update of the tvOS system.

Moreover, Apple’s tvOS update package is generally almost small, focusing on low-level bug fixes, performance updates, and minor adjustments, rather than adding new external-oriented features. But this update adds support for SharePlay.

Furthermore, with support for SharePlay, users can watch content in the Apple TV app with friends and family through FaceTime. The video content will be synchronized between the devices of all participants, so users can watch TV and movies with others.

In addition, this update also provides sharing controls for playing content, pausing, rewinding, and fast-forwarding. It also adds intelligent volume control, which can automatically lower the sound of movies, TV shows, or songs when someone is talking.

Besides,  Apple also announced yesterday that it will launch its Apple TV+ streaming service in South Korea on November 4, and launch the first Korean original drama “Dr. Brain” on the same day.
