According to reports, Facebook’s smart TV application allows users to listen to a variety of videos, shows, and live broadcasts, but can no longer be used on Apple TV. Some users said they could no longer use the app after the latest update.

In a MacRumors post, a user said that when turning on Facebook Watch with an Apple TV 4K, he was prompted: “The Facebook Watch TV app is dead, but you can still find it at www.facebook.com/watch A lot of Facebook videos.” Many users also reported similar experiences.
After Facebook first launched the Watch app on Samsung smart TVs, it also launched the app on Apple TV in 2017. The app is also available on various other smart TVs and consoles, as well as on Facebook’s mobile app and desktop website. Those who still want to use Facebook Watch on Apple TV can switch the Watch from their phone to the TV, but it will be a lot of hassle.
It’s still unclear if the Facebook Watch app is down because of a glitch caused by a recent update, or if Facebook pulled the app from Apple TV entirely. Apple TV is still listed as one of the platforms supported by Facebook Watch.
