Hyundai launched Ioniq 5 charging tech for Electric vehicles and bicycles in the US

Hyundai has unveiled the American version of the Ioniq 5 electric car, which was announced in Europe in February this year. There are few external differences: the American version received orange reflectors in the headlights and on the rear arches. Dimensions remained unchanged: 4635 x 1890 x 1600 mm with a center distance of 3000 mm.

Hyundai Motor America has promised to start selling the car in the fall in Limited, SEL, and SE trim levels. The rear-wheel-drive version is equipped with a single electric motor, which develops 228 hp. and a torque of 350 Nm, and the all-wheel-drive received two engines with a capacity of 325 hp. with a torque of 605 Nm.

The European version received power plants with a capacity of 170 to 306 hp. So the top American goes from 0 to 60 mph in less than five seconds, while the European needs 5.2 seconds. In addition, the American version received a more capacious battery, which provides a range of up to 483 km.

American versions of the Ioniq 5 can accelerate to 185 km / h and tow a trailer weighing up to 680 kg. Charging a car at a 350 kW fast station will allow you to replenish the battery from 10 to 100% in 18 minutes.

Recall that Hyundai Ioniq 5 features support for Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology, as well as corresponding sockets that can be used to connect electric tools and vehicles.
