According to recent reports, the IC components shortage for iPhone 13 is started emerging in early October. Although, assemblers are expected to step up production before February next year to meet terminal demand.
If the situation remains the same for the time being, it could lead Apple to miss its consumers to some extent. However, the iPhone 13 shows great performance in the market after its launch the IC shortage can create some difficulties for the manufacturer.

According to the reports from DigiTimes, the iPhone 13 model is still in short supply and the channel distributors are currently seeing that the inventory of consumers.
Going with the report, the makers start increasing IC inventory for 2-4 weeks, consecutively the manufacturing and deployment will increase gradually.
Related to this, the suppliers such as Wenye Technology have started to accelerate their process to deliver enough supply to this US-based firm. However, the working timeline is 2-4 weeks backward from what is speculated.
Before, the iPad production has shown nearly about 50% less performance than the actual plan. Furthermore, the older iPhone components are being installed in the iPhone 13.
Though Apple has designed the iPad and iPhone in the manner that almost the same parts can be used in both devices including core and peripheral chips.
Therefore, this US headquarter smartphone maker can easily transfer components between different devices under certain circumstances. Still, it’s not enough for the company to deal with the current situations.
