Intel’s 12th generation Core Alder Lake first graphics card driver introduced

Intel recently released the first graphics driver version 30.0.100.9928 for the 12th-generation Alder Lake series processors, which is suitable for Windows 10 20H2 and above systems including Win11.

There are no bug fixes in this version because it is the first version of Alder Lake, but there are some issues that need to be noted:

  • Slight graphical anomalies may be observed in “Dark Souls 3”;

  • There may be intermittent crashes or hangs in GFXBench and “Forza Horizon 4”;

  • After quickly unplugging and replugging the external monitor during video playback, slight graphical anomalies may be observed in Netflix.

Moreover, that the 30.0.100.9928 driver is compatible with the following processors:

  • Intel Core i5-12600K processor

  • Intel Core i7-12700K processor

  • Intel Core i9-12900K processor

The 12th-generation Core Alder Lake desktop processor is equipped with Intel Ultra HD graphics based on the Xe architecture, which can support up to 8K HDR video and can connect 4K displays at the same time.
