OWC has announced the launch of a new high-performance solid-state drive-Aura Pro NT for the 2016 to 2017 13-inch MacBook Pro models without Touch Bar, which can provide up to 2TB of storage space and the fastest transfer speed of 2720 MB/s.
According to the product introduction on the OWC official website, this solid-state uses TLC 3D NAND flash memory particles. The specific particle is temporarily unknown. The main control used is Phison E13T and supports PCIe 3.1 X4 and NVMe 1.3.

OWC officials said that taking the Aura Pro NT 1TB capacity version as an example, it can hold up to 200,000 photos, 250,000 songs, 330 minutes of 4K GoPro video, or 4.3 million Microsoft Office documents.
Moreover, OWC Aura Pro NT has four capacity specifications of 240GB/480GB/1TB/2TB to choose from, priced at 89 US dollars (approximately RMB 568) / 129 US dollars (approximately RMB 824) / 194 US dollars (approximately RMB 1239 yuan)/379 US dollars (approximately RMB 2422).
Furthermore, each solid-state hard drive will also come with tools to facilitate user replacement and installation, and provide an official 5-year warranty, which is currently available for purchase on the official online store.
