LTPO OLED for Apple iPhone 13 will be exclusively supplied by Samsung: Report

Apple‘s most used OLED displays for the iPhone 12 series have been produced by Samsung. Meanwhile, some reports also claim that LG has also supplied 1/4 of OLED panels that are used in the iPhone 12 series.

According to the latest news, the iPhone 13 lineup’s two high-end iPhones will sport LTPO (low-temperature polycrystalline oxide) OLED technology which will be exclusively supplied by Samsung Display. Besides, both expensive models can also support a 120Hz refresh rate.

On the other hand, LG Display is currently not able to supply its LTPO OLED for Apple iPhones this year. However, the company is continuously developing the panel to start its supply in 2022.
