Samsung VC visits research center to discuss plans for 6G and artificial intelligence

Samsung‘s Vice-Chairman Lee Jae-yond held an executive meeting to discuss strategies in 6G and artificial intelligence (AI) on Wednesday. The official was updated on the company’s progress in next-gen server technology, telecommunication research, and Artificial Intelligence application to products at the office of Samsung Research in Seoul.

At the meeting held by the vice-chairmen, Samsung’s consumer electronics CEO HS Kim, mobile CEO DJ Koh, and Samsung Research director Sebastian Seung was also present. Mr. Lee said – “securing future technology was a matter of survival”.

According to Samsung, the vice-chairman asked to read the changes happening around them to control the future. Recently, the vice-chairman visited the company’s Pyeongtaek chip plant, later on, he visited the company’s network equipment production line at Suwon as well as its Global Technology Center on Tuesday.
