Samsung’s private 5G solutions with various capabilities to meet 5G demand

Today, Samsung announced the company’s full portfolio of 5G standalone solutions in its new whitepaper: ‘Converting Private Networks with Samsung 5G’. The portfolio includes a variety of 5G solutions – including RAN, Core, transport, and management system – to meet specific business needs.

The new solutions come with three different business planning solutions – integrated box solution, standard mid-range solution, and premium solution for large businesses.

As a dedicated network designed for businesses, private networks allow businesses to use new business plans and services in their facilities. With 5G, businesses can take advantage of improved production, security, and efficiency of private services that can bring a variety of industries, from offices and classrooms to industries and hospitals.

Since private 5G networks are often built and managed in confined spaces, they require flexible deployment and easy operation, which are the main advantages of Samsung’s private 5G network solutions offered.

Samsung has designed private network solutions that are capable of operating businesses of all sizes, to meet the needs of various operating cases:

Compact: This option is suitable for enterprises that require a simple and cost-effective deployment and operation of private networks, with RAN and compact core in an “all-in-one-box” configuration.

Standard: This option is designed for mid-sized businesses with a relatively larger business scale, supported by the multi-site configuration.

Premium: This option fits large-scale businesses with high scalability. The ‘Premium’ configuration helps build flexible private networks that can dynamically expand their capacity to power more complex and advanced use cases.
