Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the health organizations discovered that washing hands at least up to 20 seconds can avoid the virus from spreading. Keeping this in mind, Apple came up with a new feature for Apple Watch that encourages users to wash their hands up to 20-seconds.

By using some sensors the Apple Watch can detect when you wash your hands and starts a 20-seconds timer for a proper hand wash. The Watch also keeps reminding you in a certain period of time. You will receive a notification as a reminder in case you haven’t washed your hands within a few minutes of returning home.

But now it seems that despite helping users it has started to irritate them. Some of the users are being disturbed by this feature as their Apple Watch keeps on reminding them to wash off their hands regularly even if they already did.
