How to install Android 11-based OxygenOS 11 on your OnePlus phone

OnePlus is now rolling out the stable Android 11-based OxygenOS 11 build to the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro. OxygenOS 11 comes with a lot of new features and changes, including a new UI.

If you want to check for the update manually, just head into the device settings and start the download. For that, head to Settings > System > System updates and tap on the Download button to install the OxygenOS 11 on your phone.

  1. Download the file – Here are the download links.
  2. After the successful download, open the File Manager.
  3. After that locate the downloaded file and select it.
  4. Now move the file to internal storage, now you are ready to install the downloaded OxygenOS 11 build on your OnePlus phone.
  5. Navigate to Settings then select System.
  6. Now tap on System updates.
  7. Go for the Gear icon at the top.
  8. Then choose Local upgrade and select the downloaded OxygenOS 11 file to start the local upgrade.
  9. Tap Install Now to manually install OxygenOS 11.
  10. Congratulation you are now using OxygenOS 11, go to the About phone to verify the build number.
