How to update from Google Hangout to Google Chat
- Open the Hangout, and click on the Go to Chat in Gmail, in the blue box
- It will take you to your chat section
- Here, you will see the Chat section at the bottom left corner
- If you will click on the arrow pointed the down, you will be prompted by all your chats
- And if you want to start a new chat, you need to click on the “+” option
