Xiaomi is expanding an Android 11 update for Redmi Note 8 users in Indonesia, which comes with a bunch of new features. Currently, the update is only rolling out for Mi Pilot testers.

Finally, Xiaomi is rolling out an Android 11 update for Redmi Note 8 users in China. Obviously, it brings a set of new features and optimizations for a better user experience.

The Android 11 comes with a bundle of new features such as conversation bubbles, built-in screen recording, one-time permissions, improved 5G support, call screening support, and more.
Back in November, the company started the Android 11 internal testing program for Redmi Note 8/8T and Redmi Note 8 Pro users, a closed beta update released for this device in early January.
The firmware version of the Android 11 update for Redmi Note 8 is V12.0.1.0.RCOCNXM and users will have to download a 2.7GB software package to install the update.
