Download and install One UI 4.0

To download the One UI 4.0 update, you first need to join the beta program. For that, you need to follow the given steps below.

  1. Get the latest version of the Samsung Members app from Galaxy Store or the Google Play Store.
  2. Log in to the application with your Samsung Account, and select the “Registration for One UI Beta Program” in the home banner or notices page to Register.
  3. After the successful registration, you will get a notification of the update.

To download and install the update, you need to do the following action on the Galaxy smartphones.

  1. Open Settings
  2. Tap on Software update
  3. Then go for Download and install

According to Sammy Fans, Samsung is rolling out the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 Beta 3 update to the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, Galaxy S10 5G, Galaxy Note 10, and Galaxy Note 10+ in South Korea. Users can identify this update via software version number ending:

    • ZULB – Galaxy S10 series
    • ZULD – Galaxy Note 10 series

According to Samsung Korea Community (via Sammy Fans), the company will release the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 Beta 3 build for the Galaxy S10e, S10, and S10+ devices next week.

According to Sammy Fans, Samsung just released the One UI 4 Beta 2 update to the Galaxy S10e, S10, S10+, S10 5G, Note 10, and Note 10+ smartphone users in South Korea. The software version is ending with ZUL5. Check the complete changelog below.

  • Stuttering issues when scrolling through various apps (status bar (quick panel), etc.)
  • Stuttering when running the Messages app
  • Not entering a conversation from a message
  • No background blur effect applied in the app entry/multi-tasking window
  • When playing a video Stuttering
  • App not visible in Secure Folder
  • Reset when playing the next song in Samsung Music
  • Stuttering when scrolling in Weather app
  • Error playing mp4 file in video player
  • Edge panel not working
  • Web in Instagram/Facebook app Link to site error
  • When entering the main screen with the Samsung Dex Apps button, there is a delay of about 1 second
  • When running some apps in recent apps, the corners are filled late
  • Blank screen occurs when scrolling the Quick Panel
  • Unexplained vibration occurs [S10 series only]
  • Fixed other minor issues

Back in February 2019, Samsung launched the Galaxy S10 flagships, which consist of several phones including Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, and Galaxy S10 5G.

At the moment, Samsung has started the Android 12 based One UI 4.0 Beta program for the  Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, and Galaxy S10+. Users of these devices who are interested can participate in the One UI 4 Beta program.

However, the beta program is currently open for limited South Korean users of the Galaxy S10 series. By participating in the beta, you can get the experience of Android 12 based One UI 4.0 features on your smartphone

How to join the One UI 4.0 (Android 12) Beta program?

Follow these steps to participate in the beta program:

  1. Download the Samsung Members app from Galaxy Apps or Play Store.
  2. After installation, launch Samsung Members, click the notice, and then tap Registration of One UI Beta Program to submit the application form.
  3. If you have a Samsung Account and meet all the participation criteria, the entire registration process will be completed. If you do not have a Samsung account, you will need to create one in order to participate.
  4. Once the registration process is completed, you will be able to install the software. You can do this through the settings menu: Settings > Software update > Download updates manually.

Samsung has already updated the Galaxy S21 series with a stable One UI 4.0 version. In addition, the company is currently running an Android 12-based One UI 4.0 beta program for the Galaxy Note 20 series, Galaxy S20 series, Galaxy Z Fold 3/Flip3, Galaxy Fold 2, and Galaxy Flip/5G.
