Android 14 beta is now live and making its way to a handful of Pixel devices. The latest version bags into the phone with several thoughtful features and tools, and Pixel owners are the first ones to experience the new changes of the approaching operating system.
Accordingly, the Android 14 beta cycle is only available to those Pixel users who have already enrolled in the Android beta program. You can install the new update version under the OTA (over-the-air) format to your Google Pixel handsets.
In terms of offerings, the Android 14 beta introduces a Smarter System UI. Herein, you will get a transparent navigation bar feature and a prominent back arrow for gesture navigation. These new tweaks will improve the usefulness of navigation to users.
In addition, the Android maker has done seamless work with graphics capabilities. The company has efficiently improved the design of share sheets, and apps can now add custom actions to system share sheets.
Ahead, the Android 14 beta version shows improvements in the per-app language segments and lets the app detect the UI languages. For privacy, the latest iteration appears to be limiting visibility to disability-focused accessibility services. Eventually, this will help in two ways:
- Protect user data such as personal details or passwords
- Prevent critical actions from being executed such as the transfer of money.
