LG V60 Android 11 firmware update rolling out now in the US

Google announced the latest Android 11 back in September 2020 which comes with many new features and some major UI changes. Just after its release, other OEMs have also started to test their own custom skin-based operating system.

Now, as per the latest news, LG is also sending the Android 11 update for its V60 in the US for Verizon and T-Mobile users. Talking about the new changes, there is not much difference between the software system which LG offers and Google’s own Android OS. So, we can expect that the changes are very much similar to what Android 11 offers.

Along with the latest Android 11 update, the Verizon V60 is also getting the January 2021 security update. While the T-Mobile locked phones are getting February 2021 patch for improves security and device stability.

On the other hand, Android 11 comes with several new features and improvements such as Chat Bubbles, one-time permissions, better privacy controls, notification history, screen recorder, and more.

The new changes of the latest Android 11 are now out for most smartphones, while there are many waiting for this major upgrade to hit their device. Started in September 2020, this rollout will gradually cover all the eligible devices until the first half of this year.

Until this Android version reaches all the devices, Google will be preparing for the release of its next version which is Android 12. We have already started to receive news and leaks related to Android 12 as the first developer preview is out and will soon start the public betas for the eligible Pixel devices.
