Moreover, the second developer beta has also updated the battery font, there will be a slightly larger font you will notice in the battery icon, which will give you a more clear and evident look, as the icon now correctly displays the battery level.

Just like Android devices, iPhone users will also be able to see the battery percentage above their lock screen clock both, when the iPhone starts charging for the first time and when tapping on the ‌iPhone‌’s display without unlocking the device.

Now let’s talk about the fixes, the frequent paste permission pop-ups have been resolved, after upgrading to iOS 16.1 beta 2 users can actively paste their text and they no longer need to explicitly approve whether to allow paste or not.

Additionally, the three-finger tap gesture issue has been fixed, which occurs when a user, uses a three-finger tap gesture to display the copy and paste menu and some apps and games have the effect of the system not correctly recognizing the gesture.

iOS 16.1 second developer preview also added a new Game Center splash screen, which will be visible while visiting the respective section for the first time in the Settings app. These were the changes and improvements that have been noted in this beta version.

Developers can update their iPhone to iOS 16.1 beta 2 by heading to the Settings app, choosing General, then tapping Software update.
