Samsung is now rolling out a new software update to the Galaxy A71 5G smartphone, which improves system security by installing the latest security patch released in April 2021.
Identified by issue number A716BXXU5CUD2, this update is currently being discovered in the UAE. Since it is the first launch, the company may soon expand the availability of the firmware to more regions.
In addition to security improvements, Samsung’s copy-and-paste changelog is also provided with the OTA. The log shows enhancements to system functions and fixes some errors, thereby improving the overall user experience.

Other than that, no new features or major user interface adjustments were noticed. It is worth mentioning that the 4G version of Galaxy A71 received the April 2021 security patch last month.
According to our information, the April 2021 security patch comes with fixes for Google’s 30 critical CVEs and Samsung’s 23 CVEs. In addition, some Galaxy devices have been updated to the May 2021 security patch, such as the Galaxy A51.
