Samsung has started rolling out the June 2022 security patch for carrier-locked models of the Galaxy S22 FE 5G smartphone users. This update improves the overall system security and device stability of the device. Currently, the security patch has been rolled out to carrier-locked United States users, and more devices will receive the update over the next few days.

UPDATE 2: June 10 (01:18 ET) – Galaxy S20 FE gets May 2022 update – India
Samsung recently released a new update for the Galaxy S20 FE device, the smartphone getting the May 2022 security patch. The update is currently available in the Indian markets. The company has released the upgrade firmware version number G780FXXS9DVE3 for the Galaxy S20 FE smartphone.

April 2022 security patch released for Galaxy S20 FE 5G users in Europe
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G has started getting the April 2022 security update in European markets. This update comes with One UI build version G781BXXU4FVC4 and focuses on installing improved security and stability for your device as well as enhancing its performance.

Additionally, Samsung’s April 2022 security patch update details mention fixes for 88 privacy and security vulnerabilities from Google and Samsung including 27 high and 18 moderate levels of CVEs.
The latest update is rolling out in Austria, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, the Baltic region, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, the Nordic region, and the UK users.
These vulnerabilities are related to improper access controls in S Secure, Samsung Contacts app, Knox Manage, StroageManager, StroageManagerService, One UI Home, Samsung DeX Home, and more.
Note: Before, you begin, make sure that you backup your important data, so you won’t lose any important files. Although the upgrade procedure won’t replace or remove any of the corresponding data from your smartphone, it’s recommended to do so for extra safety measures.
