OPPO Reno 2 receiving Stable ColorOS 11 based on Android 11 update

OPPO has started to rollout Stable ColorOS 11 based on Android 11 for OPPO Reno 2 users. It comes with a bunch of new features and optimizations to enhance the overall user experience.

Earlier this month, Oppo shared a software update roadmap details for Oppo devices that plan to receive the ColorOS 11 update in April. The Reno 2 has been included in the list and OPPO promised the official stable rollout for the phone should kick off around April 21. The company is fulfilling its promise.

Back in March, the company released ColorOS 11 beta update for this device and now the stable built rolled out for all users. It is rolling out in India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar, Pakistan, and Kazakhstan.

Android 11 update brings a bundle of new features including Chat Bubbles, Conversation Notifications, one-time permissions for microphone and location, and more. ColorOS 11 also brings a plethora of new features of its own. Some of the main highlights include improved dark mode and Always on Display, three-finger translation with Google Lens, Flex Drop, Ringtone marker, and Super Power Saving Mode.
