It seems like Huawei has really started to move on from EMUI 10/Android 10 update because the company has recently begun sending the latest security updates for one of its older flagships after upgrading to EMUI 10.

The January 2020 security patch provides fixes to 2 critical and 16 high levels of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) found in the recent build.
