Honor has refused to install EMUI 10 for well specs smartphones such as Honor Play. On the other hand, the company has promised to send the same OS upgrade for devices such as Honor 8X and by moving forward, the company has finally begun to roll the latest EMUI version for 8X users.
The Android 10 based EMUI 10 brings new features and changes in user interface including the dark mode, magazine-style UI layout, Morandi UI color system, and more.

Honor India has recently closed the beta program of EMUI 10 for Honor 8X and said that the stable version of the Android 10 release can be expected by the third week of January 2020.
Version and expansion:
The new upgraded Operating System for Honor 8X comes with version EMUI 10.0.0.170 (In some regions EMUI 10.0.0.157) with 3.53GB size and confirmed in India models. Honor will expand this update in batches for global users.
