EMUI 10.1 beta program starts for the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro

Following the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro, Huawei has also kicked off the EMUI 10.1 beta recruitment for the flagship Huawei Mate 30 series that first debuted with EMUI 10.0 (via Huawei Central).

The users of Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro can now sign up to become a part of the EMUI 10.1 beta activity and test the latest feature first hand. The EMUI 10.1 beta project initially started in the Philippines and may also be expanding to other countries.

However, you can download the Huawei Beta app (below) and check the beta project for your device.

Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro users require to update the models with the following EMUI 10 version.

Huawei Mate 30:

TAS-L29 EMUI 10.0.0.192(C636E8R8P1)
TAS-L29 EMUI 10.0.0.192(C636E8R7P1)

Huawei Mate 30 Pro:

LIO-L29 – EMUI 10.0.0.204 (C636E6R8P1)
LIO-L29 – EMUI 10.0.0.204 (C636E6R7P1)

Currently, there’s mention of the 5G models but you can still check for the beta project.

Registration Timeline: From April 17 to April 28.

Required Testers: 300 Per Model.

Rollout: After the registration, users of Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro need to wait until the registration closes for everyone, followed by the EMUI 10.1 beta version rollout.
