Honor View 10 users who’ve already upgraded to EMUI 10 are now receiving a new software update that brings January security. However, there are no additional features or improvements mentioned in the changelog.

The January 2020 update improves system security with Google security patches and fixes to fixes to 2 critical and 16 high levels of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE).

To Check for update follow the instructions below:
Via Settings:
- Open Settings
- Click on ‘System’
- Click on ‘Software update’
- Click on ‘CHECK FOR UPDATES’
- Click on ‘Download and install’
Via HiCare:
- Open HiCare app
- Click on the ‘Services’ tab
- Click on ‘Update’
- Click on ‘CHECK FOR UPDATES’
- Click on ‘Download and install’
