Last year in December, Huawei released the stable EMUI 11 update for Huawei P30 phones including P30 and P30 Pro in China. However, the global variants are scheduled to get stable EMUI 11 in March 2021.
Meanwhile, the Huawei P30 Lite is currently working on EMUI 10.0 and it will not even get the EMUI 10.1, however, the company has promised to send regular security updates for the smartphone.
According to the latest information (Via – Huawei Central), Huawei is sending the latest update for the Huawei P30, P30 Pro, and P30 Lite users. This firmware installs the latest security improvement for smartphones to keep them protected against threats.

Other than the security improvements, the update does not add any new features to the smartphones. For Huawei P30 and P30 Pro, the update can be identified with the EMUI 10.1 version 10.1.0.194 along with the update size of 139MB. While for the Huawei P30 Lite users the EMUI 10.0 version is 10.0.0.381 and an update size of 103MB.
Huawei P30 and P30 Pro users are getting the update in Europe and for Huawei P30 Lite the update is currently rolling out in India. The update will soon expand to other regions as well. You can download the update on your device by following the steps given below.
How to update
Download via Settings:
- Open Settings
- Click on the System & updates
- Open Software update
- Tap on Check for updates option
- If an update is available, click on Download and install
- After installation Reboot the device
Download via Support app:
- Open the Support app on your device
- Go to the Service tab
- Click on the update button
- Tap on Check for update option
- If an update is available, click on Download and install
- After installation Reboot the device
