New update for Huawei Nova 8 Pro brings display improvements

Huawei launched the Nova 8 series back in December that consists of two models as Nova 8 and Nova 8 Pro. The higher-end variant, Nova 8 Pro packs a bunch of premium features such as Kirin 985, EMUI 11, 120Hz refresh rate display, 4000mAh battery, and much more.

It seems that Huawei is taking good care of these new launch phones as the company is releasing back-to-back software update with several fixes and optimizations. Previously, the Chinese tech giant has released a couple of updates for these smartphones which brought severe optimizations for camera effect, fingerprint unlocking, system stability.

Now the company is sending a new firmware update for the higher-end Nova 8 Pro devices. This new firmware can be identified with the EMUI 11 version 11.0.0.128 which is upgraded from version 11.0.0.121.

The new update brings optimizations for system stability and improves the display interface, The update is being already rolled out for the Nova 8 users. While for the Nova 8 Pro users, it is rolling out in batches so it may take time. If you have received the update on your handset then here are the download steps.

How to update:

Download via Settings:

Open Settings > then click on System & updates. After opening a Software update, tap on Check for updates option. If the update is available to download then click Download and install. And after installation Reboot the device.

Download via Support app:

Open the Support app on your device and then go to the Service tab. Click on the Update button and then tap on Check for update option. If the update is available then click on Download and install. After installation Reboot the device.
