Huawei Nova 6 and Nova 6 5G are getting the March 2020 security patch with EMUI 10.0.1.173 a direct upgrade from EMUI 10.0.1.167 (via Huawei Central).
This new EMUI update with the latest system security and additional improvements is available in China. This new EMUI software package for Huawei Nova 6 and Nova 6 5G installs the latest security patch of March 2020 and system stability optimizations.

The March 2020 EMUI security including Google security patches and fixes for 2 critical and 20 high levels of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE).
This is a second firmware update for Huawei Nova 6 and Nova 6 5G, as well as Nova 6 SE, that received February 2020 security in the same month.
Note: The update is rolling out in batches in China, so it may take some time to reach these devices.
