The May 2020 security patch is now available in the US for the Samsung Galaxy Fold. It brings new camera features. The software version of this update is F900U1UEU3BTDD and the size is 1086MB.

According to the changelog, it comes with the new camera features, various menus, modes, AR Zone, Single take, Pro video, My filters, Selfie tone, timelapse for night time, and a mode for recording videos with the front camera in FHD/UHD at 60 fps. You can read about these features in detail here.

The May 2020 security patch is now available for the Galaxy Fold 5G. It brings new camera features. The software version of this update is F907BXXU3BTDD.

The new camera features are various menus, modes, AR Zone, Single take, Pro video, My filters, Selfie tone, timelapse for night time, and a mode for recording videos with the front camera in FHD/UHD at 60 fps. You can read about these features in detail here.

– AR Emoji has been updated with improvements like a manual editing feature and enhanced facial expression recognition.
※ As AR Emoji has been updated to a new version, all previously saved AR emojis will be deleted when you next open the AR Emoji app.

April 29, 2020 – Samsung Galaxy Fold May 2020 security patch

After rolling out the May 2020 security patch to the Galaxy S20 series, Samsung is now rolling out a new software update for the Galaxy Fold. It brings new camera features, AR Emoji, and the May 2020 security patch.

The new camera features are various menus, modes, AR Zone, Single take, Pro video, My filters, Selfie tone, timelapse for night time, and a mode for recording videos with the front camera in FHD/UHD at 60 fps. You can read about these features in detail here.

Here’s the list of eligible Samsung devices that will get the One UI 3.0/Android 11

These above-listed features can also be found in the Galaxy S20 series and other devices running One UI 2.1. In addition to the camera features, AR Emoji has been updated with improvements like a manual editing feature and enhanced facial expression recognition.

The software version of this update is F900FXXU3BTDD and currently rolling out in France for the LTE variant. The update should be available in other regions very soon.
