HarmonyOS 2.0.0.209

Huawei has rolled out the HarmonyOS 2.0.0.209 version update for 14 of its popular flagship models coming from the Huawei P30 and Mate 20 series. These phones are running HarmonyOS in China and are currently receiving continuous software support to provide a better user experience.

As per the changelog, the latest update for 14 Huawei models comes with key HarmonyOS features that were first installed on the most recent smartphones – Mate 40, P40, and Mate 30 series. However, now the company is seeding them on all available HarmonyOS devices.

However, the latest development has already been done at the request of a new Chinese telecom policy. Read more about that here.

Huawei, on the other hand, has released the first developer preview of HarmonyOS 3 which will be available to developers. However, developer beta testing will begin in the first quarter of 2022.
