Huawei Mate 40 Pro+ is the high-end Mate series phone launched in the second half of 2020. It packs several top-end features such as a powerful Kirin 9000 processor, a 4400mAh battery with a 66W fast charging support, an OLED display with a high refresh rate, and more.
The Mate 40 series phones were the first in line to get the new HarmonyOS update and so is the Mate 40 Pro+. Starting with the first developer beta which was started to roll out in December, the Mate 40 Pro+ has been part of HarmonyOS since the very beginning.
The Mate 40 Pro+ was launched with Android 10 based EMUI 11 and due to the US restrictions, it came with HMS support that uses Huawei AppGallery as its main app store. The HarmonyOS 2.0 upgrade will be its first major upgrade which is already available for Chinese users.
The HarmonyOS 2.0 has already marked its presence for the Mate 40 Pro+ smartphones with the developer beta updates started from December last year. After getting 3 developers’ beta, the smartphone finally got its first public beta on June 02, after the official announcement of HarmonyOS 2.0.
In this dedicated tracker of HarmonyOS 2.0, we will keep you updated with every single new, leak, beta release related to the Mate 40 Pro+.
Note: The beta testing for HarmonyOS 2.0 is currently limited to Chinese users and will soon be available for global users.
