Huawei MatePad 11 HarmonyOS 2 closed beta testing begins [China]

The recently launched MatePad 11 tablet came pre-installed with the new HarmonyOS 2.0 and has now started receiving the new closed beta update in China. With the new beta updates, this tablet will get some more added new features.

The new MatePad 11 comes with several high-end features along with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 processor. The device is paired with 6GB RAM along with two storage options of 128GB and 256GB memory.

This will allows its users to experience some more functionalities of HarmonyOS 2.0. This new self-developed operating system comes with a new home screen, service widgets, control panel, HarmonyOS fonts, and much more.

Huawei MatePad 11 HarmonyOS 2.0 Closed Beta details:

The HarmonyOS 2.0 closed beta update rolling out for the MatePad 11 carries version number 2.0.0.137. There are currently 2000 slots opened only for the selected testers. The interested testers can enroll between July 22, 2021, to July 31, 2021. Check the follow-up official notice for more details.

How to register?

Registering for the Huawei MatePad 11 HarmonyOS 2 closed beta is quite simple. All you have to do is open My Huawei App >> tap Closed Beta Registration >> Finally register yourself.

Things to remember

  • Maintain enough batter on your device, at least 10GB
  • The device should not be rooted
  • Check the current device version to match with the baseline one
  • Do not fill in the incorrect info, otherwise, you won’t receive the new version

HarmonyOS 2.0 

Officially announced on June 02, the new HarmonnyOS 2.0 comes with several amounts of features including a brand new home screen, service widget, HarmonyOS 2.0 fonts, and much more. The new Super Device features seem super cool in the new HM OS.

The Super Device allows users to control a bunch of devices using a single supermodel. Further, there is this collaborative security for enhanced privacy protection. However, HarmonyOS 2.0 is still limited to Chinese users.

The Chinese tech giant is still doesn’t have any plan for a global rollout, while the users waiting are eager to test the new software. The company is soon expected to come up with a surprise for those users waiting in the queue.
