At HDC 2019, this was Huawei’s first global launch HarmonyOS AKA Hongmeng OS. Since then, the company is rapidly working and is trying to add new key features and changes.

The major part that Huawei focuses on and integrates with HarmonyOS is a seamless experience, smooth performance, high security, and consumer-oriented all-in-one service platform.

Last year in December, Huawei released the HarmonyOS 2.0 Mobile Developer Beta version and registered some Huawei devices for testing. Devices include the P40, Mate 30, and MatePad Pro, and the HarmonyOS dev beta has recently opened for more devices.

As per the official information, HarmonyOS for mobile will be officially listed in April this year, and the company will terminate the HarmonyOS mobile developer beta when released publicly.

At the Huawei Global Analyst Conference, one of the top executives of the Chinese technology giant revealed that the company aims to move around 100 million devices in 2021 via HarmonyOS.

As we all know, Huawei always displays its innovative technology firstly in China and then extends it to global users. In this regard, HarmonyOS is first tested in the Chinese market and then deployed globally.

Recently, Huawei fans contacted Huawei via their official Twitter account and asked about HarmonyOS for global users. In response, Huawei Mobile stated that we plan to share more information about HarmonyOS later this year.

This means that Huawei will share information about HarmonyOS for users around the world later this year and may launch it next year. However, Huawei may begin beta testing of HarmonyOS for global devices before December 2021.
