Huawei is going to unveil HarmonyOS 2.0 for smartphones on June 2. In this event, the company will unveil some new products such as MatePad Pro 2, Watch 3 Series and the much-awaited flagship mobile phone, Huawei P50 Series.
Back in December 2020, Huawei started HarmonyOS 2.0 closed developer beta test for its flagship products – the Huawei P40, Mate 30 and MatePad Pro series.
After three months of testing, the Chinese technology giant opened the HarmonyOS 2.0 dev beta test pool for the first public participants. The public testing program included 19 devices and was expanded to 7 more devices on 9 May.
Earlier, Huawei CBG President Wang Chenglu said that the mass customization of HarmonyOS 2.0 will begin in early June.
Recently, a Weibo tipster revealed that Huawei will release the HarmonyOS 2.0 upgrade for the first batch of devices at the HarmonyOS conference on June 2.
The tipster claims that the HarmonyOS 2.0 adaptation begins on May 31. On the other side, from June 2, many major products participating in the beta campaign will be able to use HarmonyOS directly for upgrades.
