Just after unveiling the new HarmonyOS 2.0, Huawei started the public beta testing with its topmost devices including the Huawei Mate 40 series. Huawei Mate 40 is first on the list to be upgraded to the HarmonyOS 2.0 software. The smartphone has already received the first beta update of HarmonyOS 2.0.
The first beta installs a bunch of new features to the Mate 40 phones such as a whole new home screen, control panel, HarmonyOS fonts, smart sharing, and more. These new features totally change the user experience to new and more enhanced.

As per the latest info, Huawei Mate 40 is now getting a new public beta update for HarmonyOS 2.0 which brings a bunch of fixes and optimizations that the users have encountered in the first beta update. Users can identify this update on their Mate 40 phone with HarmonyOS version 2.0.0.128 (C00E120R6P2).

It fixes the sound effect of some games, fixes the problem of the Contact application, and optimizes the stability of the internet connection.
