New Huawei car smart screen comes pre-installed HarmonyOS 2.0

Huawei has officially confirmed the launch of the Huawei Mate 40 series on its home ground, China on October 30. Recently, the company also revealed one more device lineup – HiCar smart screen system, which will announce alongside Mate 40 series and will be released in detail on November 5.

According to a report, this upcoming HiCar smart screen for cars will be powered by the company’s own HongMeng OS 2.0, which is also known as HarmonyOS 2.0. This could be a tablet-sized device that is placed in a car and support features like a smartphone such as call making, internet surfing, video playback, music, and playing games.

A tipster also suggests that Huawei is preparing to unveil a bunch of smart products in 11 categories on November 5. Still, more information is yet to come. However, Huawei is revealed the HarmonyOS 2.0 at Huawei Developer Conference, which now supports smart wearables, in-car systems, and more platforms.
